This is what it takes to be in ministry at Destiny:

1. Complete a ministry application
2. Submit to a background check.
3. Have a personal interview with a ministry leader.
4. Be in agreement with the basic beliefs of faith taught by Destiny Church.
5. Be loyal and submit to the leadership of pastors and leaders of Destiny Church.
6. Live a godly life in words and actions.
7. Work to keep your home life in order.
8. Be neat and modest in your appearance.
9. Be a regular attender of Destiny Church. (*Teachers must be members.)
10. Keep a minimum six‐month commitment.
11. Be faithful to your assigned position.
• Be at your designated post and prepared before starting time (typically 30 minutes early).
• Give proper notice to appropriate leaders when being absent from serving.
• Carry out responsibilities of position with a cheerful & positive attitude.
12. Attend training meetings as needed.
13. Complete appropriate equipping sessions(s) as needed.
14. Be faithful to attend worship times (not just those I serve). Serve one. Celebrate one.
15. Give 2‐week notice when resigning a position (30‐day notice when possible)
16. Fiercely protect the unity of our church.
